Timothy Scott’s life has been defined by walking toward the impossible. After years of immigration barriers kept him apart from his wife and children, he set out on foot across the United States, not once, but three times, just to hold his family again. Those miles carried him through nights under bridges, storms that bit through his clothes, and the weight of missing moments he could never get back.
Now living in Mexico with his wife and children and awaiting the birth of the first baby he will be there to welcome from the very start, Timothy shares his story to show that beauty can still rise from the hardest places. His book, Stumbling in the Dark Looking for the Light Switch, grew from the journals he kept along those roads, a record of hardship, resilience, and the light found in unexpected places.
As a guest on Behind Beautiful Things, he hopes to explore how pain can become purpose, how love can survive distance, and how even in the darkest seasons, something beautiful is still being built.
